The Nursing High School focuses on education of hospital nurses. The students are between 15 and 19 years old. Most of them are girls. The lenght of study is 4 years. They have practice lessons in hospital during their 3rd and 4th year of study. There are 260 students. The second part is called The Higher Nursing School and it prepares so called diplomed hospital nurses. They are over 19 years old. It is a three-year study. There are 120 students. The study has a lot of university features. We have 25 full-time teachers and 50 external cooperating teachers. Our school is situated in so called Zl=EDn Region in the East of Moravia near the border with the Slovak Republic. The beautiful mountain range in our region is called The Beskydy Mountains. The whole area is called Valachia (similar to Romanian Valachia).
