We closed the last year of our work on the Project in the programme Socrates/Comenis 1. The result was the verification of the new method of evaluation of our school. Eleven secondary European schools were working in this project and they’ve continued to meet in several countries / one school from Italy, Arce added to our group in autumn 2004./

At the beginning of the new school year the whole group met at the 5th Project meeting at the Secondary School in Aveiro -  Escola Secundaria De Jose Estevao -  Portugal.

We cleared up some important points and resolutions. The basic task in this year was elaboration and verification of effects for created methods.

After that it was important to compare our results with all foreign partner’s schools. Participants of the meeting in Aveiro have chosen the same several quastionnaires for evaluation / from CR – Vsetin, from Portugal, Germany and Romania /.

The final result was presented not only in our school at the meeting with all our teachers but also in Project meeting in Italy.

In the end of the year in December we prepared the questionnaires for evaluation in our school / for students, parents and teachers /. After that we prepared the Report of the Questionnaires with several graphs.  / viz. CD /.

During this last year of the project we’ve realized several teacher’s exchanges and one teachers/students exchange.

Our colleague, Mgr. Libor Skoda, teacher of German language, visited “Die Staatliche Fachoberschule und Berugsschule” in Kaufbeuren, Germany in the beginning of April 2005. Colleagues from this institution prepared  very “heavy” and  nice programme contenting the visit of interesting places in this area, he visited also several lessons of German language, history, English language, PT etc.

After his arrival he organized meeting with teachers from our school and he reported on many interesting facts and experience from this one week stay in abroad. / e.g. history of the school, number of students in a class, school life, students behavior during lessons, breaks, their activities etc. /

Also two teachers from Portugal visited our school in February 2005, two teachers from Hungary  went to our school in April 2005. And also our school prepared the conditions for students exchange from Sora, Italy.

Our school was attended by  20 students and 6 teachers from 2 schools from Italy. Our students accommodated these foreign  students at theirs home. Teachers and students prepared for them interesting and “rich” programme. They took part in the lessons of practical teaching in hospital, various lessons / e.g. German, Czech, English languages, biology, practical nursing lessons etc. /. Many teachers from our school cooperated in the programme for our visitors. Some  colleagues showed  them historical parts of Prague, some visited museums and interesting exibitions, Prague Castle, Zoo. And a few teachers prepared some quiezes about the knowledge of students of the Czech  Republic, Prague versus Sora, Italy. Our teachers prepared for them a typical Czech dinner in Czech family.

The exchange stay was positively evaluated. Students learnt a lot of useful information about culture, problems and on system of education of partner’s school. The students could exchange their experience and skills. They could increase their vocabulary, learn to understand how to use English, to improve their communication skills, be more relaxed and confident using foreign language.

Also 12 students and 2 teachers of our Secondary Nursing School took part in exchange stay in Sora, Italy, from 24th April to  1st May,2005. They visited Liceo Scientifico Statale Leonardo da Vinci in Sora. They were invited by Italian partners to spend there the week with them. The stay was covered by certain programme. According to the programme our students and their teachers could participate in lessons in the morning and in the afternoon they could spend their spare time either with host family or on trips.

Italian partner school made several trips to Roma, Rapine, BonvilleArnica – Calamari. On one trip our students had an opportunity to participate in a competition in history. And one student won a door  prize. In this competition teachers acted as interpreters.

In Sora over the course of only six days they had to contend with a lot of information. They took part in Maths, Literature and Biology classes and so they learnt a lot on system of education in partner country.

Our students could reinforce and continue their friendship started in the Czech Republic. The teachers could exchange their experience and attitudes.  Our students and also their teachers had another possibility to pass an interesting and exiting week with their friends from abroad.

The last project meeting took place in Sora, Italy, May 17-24,2005. The meeting was visited by RNDr. Dagmar Kenkusova from our school. She worked on the Project together with other 20 participants from 8 countries. They visited two secondary schools, namely Liceo Scientifico Statale “Leonardo da Vinci” in Sora and Scuola Media di Arce in Arce. They were heartily welcome by the board in both schools and they could have seen some lessons. Both the teachers and the students were very friendly and warmhearted. She was a bit surprised that the teacher’s duty is 18 hours a week but one lesson takes 50 minutes.  The delegates were admitted by the mayors of both towns, too. Both of them emphasized the necessity of such teacher’s meetings and learning about each other in integreated Europe.

Most of the time they spent working over Project. Every school presented the application and evaluation the questionnaires and the most surprising items. The analysis were passed on the board of the schools.

They were as well offered a trip to the National Park Picinisco and Pompei. Most of delegates accepted the trip with pleasure. During the trip they could have seen not only history of the country but also admired the way the state devotes to protect environment in the National Park.
