Activity done during the first project year (2002-2003):

September: teacher training by expert ( Vida Józsefné)

September-June: English Language course for the participating teachers (12 people)

From October to December: individual study about evaluation

November 11-18: Project meeting in Sátoraljaújhely.

Analysing of existing situations in the participating countries and identifying

the problems and needs.

Selecting subjects for evaluation: Mathematics, National Language and

Foreign languages.

December 15: Report about the educational system of Hungary and our school.

February 15: Elaboration of the list of skills, values and attitudes to be evaluated:

Mathematics: equation solving skills

Foreign Languages: Value: Responsibility

Attitude. Self management

Skill: Reading comprehension

National Language: Value: Autonomy

Attitude: Respect for deadlines, punctuality

Skills: reading comprehension

March –May: Elaboration and drawing up of a list with ’what-how’ we evaluate.

Elaboration of the instruments and methodology of evaluation.

May 11-18: Project meeting in Holland:

Group formation: 1, Sciences and mathematics

2, National and Foreign Languages, Social Subjects

 

Agreement on division of the work on instruments.
